- In 1970 the family-run winery was founded. The passion of Paolo and Dina Rapuzzi now continues with their sons Pierpaolo and Ivan whose aim is to give value to the ancient native grape varieties of Friuli in accordance with atheir philosophy of selective production of extremely high quality wines.
- Estate grown and bottled. Prolonged maceration for 4-5 weeks; Native yeasts; Pump-over twice daily. Maturation in French oak barriques for 14-18 months and further ageing in bottles for 30-36 months. Potential ageing in the bottle: 20-25 years with some vintages able to evolve even longer.
- South South West exposure; altitude: 150-200m; Roncjs; 0.56 ha; terraced hills; South South East exposure; altitude: 165-180m; family-owned. Average age of vines: 50 years.
