"Wingtine" Chardonnay is named after the specialized wing tine shank used to cultivate Goldridge soil, including their Estate farm. By lifting and fracturing the soil vertically and horizontally, this specialized wing-shaped plow reduces tractor passes, while maintaining soil structure and integrating sustainable farming practices. Radio-Coteau's tradition includes blending biodynamically grown fruit from the Estate and organically grown fruit from the neighboring Heintz Ranch continued with the 2021 vintage. As in previous years, they drew on their experience with both sites to guide cellar decisions, utilizing a combination of concrete egg and neutral oak barrels. The result is an elegant Chardonnay showcasing Sonoma Coast fruit alongside unique vintage character.
