The first harvest was in 1996 for this cuvee. This was an experimental white wine initially, with the first encounter with Chardonnay for the Domaine. An experiment they pursued with a new plot in 2016. Ripeness is usually excellent with decent yields. A full wine with honeyed aromas of apple and pear that is kept right on edge and so drinkable because of the acidity from the 2021 vintage. This highly refreshing effort is absolutely worth the dive.
