- The 2019 Fellom Ranch brings more dried herbs and spice blend with a bit of cedar and pine to the glass immediatley, a bottle that will do well with some time aging in the bottle. It presents a precise yet textured mouthfeel in its youth. Earthy and savory but balanced with plenty of fruit.
- Founded in 2001 by childhood friends, Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Roberts, Arnot-Roberts has played a huge part in advocating for naturally produced, single-vineyard bottlings from California. They focus on old-vine, dry-farmed sites throughout California.
- When the Fellom family purchased their ranch on Montebello Ridge in 1929, it came with an established vineyard planted to Zinfandel. Between 1980-1983 they replanted and expanded this austere site with Cabernet Sauvignon cuttings from the Charles Krug Winery in the Napa Valley.
- The resulting wines from Fellom Ranch are sustainably farmed, wildly aromatic and deeply concentrated with dark pigment and fruit, supported by the tannic structure needed for a long life in the cellar before reaching full maturity. A wine that will continue to show great depth for years to come
