The regiment is a careful hand harvested selection from only old vine (Vieilles Vignes) parcels, into a cold maceration, with the oak program is relatively light for Grand Cru status, somewhere between 33-40% on a given vintage. The combination of oak-aging enhances the natural spiced tones of this majestic wine, although delightful in youth, this is a cellar treasure that I can’t wait to rediscover on its 20th birthday! These wines are thought provoking, ethereal and truly marvel the test of time.
