This particular cuvée from Domaine Denis Mortet, Gevery-Chambetin, ‘Mes Cinq Terroirs’, (My Five Terroirs) 2022 comes from a collection of named vineyards (Lieux Dits) in Gevrey-Chambertin. Mostly hailing from the Northern edge of the commune, En Matrot & Combe du Dessus are situated under the formidable Premier Cru of Cazetieres, while En Champs borders Champeaux Premier Cru, with Au Vellé seated at the foot of Petit Cazetieres Premier Cru, followed by the most northerly En Derée. These are the Cinq Terroirs. The tradition continues, and the future is bright for the Mortet Family.
