Since taking over from his father in 2001, Klaus Peter and his wife Julia Keller have turned the Keller estate from the humble Rheinhessen region into one of the most celebrated and sought after wineries in the world. Famously coined the “German Montrachets” by Jancis Robinson, the British wine critic and journalist, in 2008, the Keller estate has only continued to improve, cementing itself as one of the most compelling wine estates in the world. The ability to change the perception of the once underappreciated Rheinhessen into some of the world's best terroirs is nothing short of amazing. 

The winery’s vineyards, including the renowned Hubacker and Morstein, benefit from diverse soils and microclimates, allowing Keller to craft wines of remarkable clarity and elegance. The Keller Von der Fels Riesling 2023 is made from the younger vines of their Grosse Lage (the German equivalent of a Grand Cru) sites. This is an expressive dry Riesling showcasing vibrant acidity and precise minerality. Aromas of citrus zest, green apple, and subtle white flowers lead to a palate of juicy lime, crisp peach, and a saline, mineral-driven finish. Elegant yet powerful, this reflects the purity of the Rheinhessen terroir.
