This wine comes from a very small vineyard planted with 130-year-old Pinot Noir vines. At this age, the vines produce very little fruit with a high skin-to-juice ratio, resulting in a concentrated, structured, and deep profile. Situated atop stony soils, the wine takes on a distinct minerality and earthy character. It would benefit beautifully from continued cellaring.
