This vineyard is dedicated to Gamay and is personally owned by Bastian, the winemaker. While much of his fruit is carefully sourced, these vineyards are a recent acquisition and development by Bastian himself. Located in Flagey-Échezeaux atop clay soils, this tiny site produces a vibrant expression of Gamay. Fermented with 100% whole clusters and carbonic maceration, the wine is bursting with bright fruit aromatics and floral notes. Aged in used barrels, it showcases the true potential of Gamay in Burgundy.
