From a lieu-dit that sits in a small depression and where the soils are richer in clay comes the inaugural release of Péters's 2012 Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Spéciale Les Montjolys a lovely wine that offers up aromas of freshly baked bread citrus oil green apple warm biscuits and white flowers. It's medium to full-bodied satiny and enveloping with the same incisive chalky spine that characterizes Les Chétillons but it has more finesse and less youthful austerity. It's a lovely addition to the range.
