A gorgeous white Burgundy that comes from a single .3 hectare-sized plot in Marsannay at the bottom of the slope. Fermented with native yeasts and then aged in older, more neutral barrels for a year before bottling. Sylvain notes the characteristic reductive minerality despite the change in location, grape, and bedrock. You would be hard pressed to find a better bottle to open the door into this Domaine. This wine impresses and demonstrates the precision they craft in each bottle, specifically their whites.
