Frédéric Savart is a very small producer making 1er Cru Champagne from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This wine is an assemblage of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay showing incredibly fine mousse matched with beautiful fruit and mineral tones. The estate consists of 4 hectares of vines in Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds, just south of Reims. Frédéric Savart is passionate about vinification and he likes to state that his work is an accompaniment to the work done by the vines. The plots here are particularly prized for their sélection massale of the renowned pinot fin d'Ecueil, planted here by Frédéric's dad and grand dad.
