Rosé de Loire is a great expression of Cab Franc with a lighter touch versus his standard red expressions. The grapes for the rosé are sorted in the field and are whole-cluster pressed prior to a native yeast fermentation in steel. It is light on the palate with red fruited flavors of currant and cranberry but maintains a strong enough structure to pair with a plethora of dishes. Guiberteau values quality over quantity so naturally these are hard to find wines and we are very happy to be able to share them with you!
