This cuvée right here, is sourced from old-vine Gamay in the heart of Beaujolais. The vines were planted between 1935 and 1972, which means they produce reduced yields and more concentrated berries, akin to a more serious Burgundy. Despite their more elevated expression, Bastian treats them in a classic Beaujolais style with 100% whole-cluster fermentation lending to a fresh, fruity expression.
