Produced on a plot of 46 ares located on the finage of Meursault in the place called "Sous le Chemin". On a fairly rich clay-limestone soil, the vines made up of plants over 45 years old give this wine real concentration and quite surprising power for a wine from the Aligoté grape variety. The terroir of the commune strongly marks it and it is often much closer to the expression of the finage of Meursault than to the "varietal" nature of its grape variety. Vinified and aged in barrels for 12 months then in stainless steel vats for 3 to 5 months - to blend it to bring freshness and refine it with flexibility - our wine is then bottled after a light fining to give it purity and finesse. It is then able to evolve well over more than 15 years while being tasted from an early age on the freshness of its intense fruitiness.
