A young and determined Eric Sussman immersed himself in the old-world magic of France, working hand-in-hand with legendary wineries in Burgundy, Jacques Prieur and Comte Armand. Bringing this wealth of knowledge back to the United States, Eric collaborated on the wines at Bonny Doon before he was drawn to the beauty of Western Sonoma County. Four years as an associate winemaker for Dehlinger only deepened his appreciation for the world-class wines that thrive in this region. And so, in 2002, Radio-Coteau was formed.
The focus was clear - the magnificent vineyards of the north coast, where the elements of well-drained soils, and marine air and fog, create masterful expressions of Burgundian grapes.
